2020 FESTIVAL OF TRL

This celebration of TRL will truly encapsulate the very best elements of our sport – competition, community and sportsmanship.

LOCATION: The city of Brisbane will host the Festival of TRL across three venues.

STATE OF ORIGIN: Wednesday 18th November 2020 – Carina Leagues Club, Carina

WORLD CUP: Thursday 19th & Friday 20th November 2020 – Purtell Park, Bardon & Shaw Park, Kedron

STATE OF ORIGIN

The 5th TRL State of Origin Series will be the most competitive to date, with significant growth in NSW TRL regions over the last 12 months, poised to upset the dominance QLD has displayed in recent years.

WORLD CUP

The 3rd edition of the TRL World Cup will celebrate the ancestral heritage of TRL players with 19 nations and regions represented, across Men’s, Men’s 30s, Mixed & Women’s WCPL (World Cup Premier League) & Cup divisions.

After the largest Australian Championships in 2019 featured 71 teams from 18 regions, the 2020 edition will truly be a representation of the best in TRL, both on and off the field, across 7 APL & Cup divisions.
