The 2026 QLD State Championships
In partnership with Experience Gold Coast, TRL Australia will be bringing the 2026 QLD State Championships to the Gold Coast.
Comp Info
All divisions will have 7 rounds + Finals (some sides will have a BYE depending on the make-up of the division).
Game-slots will run for 30 minutes (including 2 x 13 minute halves).
Unique rules: Kick-tries will be worth 2 points. 6 on the field for Mixed (3 men, 3 women).
Pricing Info
Men’s & Mixed teams – $990/team
Women’s & Men’s 30s teams – $790/team (heavily subsidised to encourage participation)
*Regional teams - $690/team (Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and Blackall)
On-field uniforms: Singlets/Shorts/Tights – $41/garment
Off-field apparel: Pricing available on request

Event Recap
The 2026 QLD State Championships was our largest on record with a massive 82 teams competing.
The 2026 edition saw the introduction of the Intermediate Division for both Men's and Mixed which was implemented to help provide a pathway to bridge the gap between social TRL and the elite version of our game. These Divisions were a fantastic addition to our Event and will be here to stay.
All in all, there were 10 different team division winners and 6 individual prize recipients. These are outlined further below.
