Top players from across the country are invited to compete in elite TRL competitions held every year.
2024 Information
TRL Australia will partner with Major Events Gold Coast and Lake Macquarie City to bring our largest Events to the Gold Coast and Lake Macquarie, respectively, across 2024.
Please note the below information including pricing, venue and dates is subject to change.
Locations & Dates
The City v Country Championships, QLD State Championships, State of Origin, World Cup and Australian Championships will all be played at the Alabaster Sporting Fields at the Gold Coast.
The NSW & Victoria State Championships will be played at the Ernie Calland Fields, Lake Macquarie.
- City v Country: April 19
- QLD State Championships: April 19 – April 21
- NSW & Victoria State Championships: May 17 – May 19 (Lake Macquarie)
- State of Origin: August 1 (Thursday night)
- World Cup: August 2 – August 4
- Australian Championships: October 4-6
Pricing – Team Registrations
- City v Country: $325 per team entry fee
- QLD State Championships: $825 per team entry fee SEQ Regions ($450 per team entry for NQ and CQ regions)
- NSW & Victoria State Championships: $450 per team entry fee NSW Regions ($300 per team entry for Victorian regions). [Note: This is a significantly subsidised Event to encourage participation].
- State of Origin: $325 per team entry fee
- World Cup: $825 per team entry fee
- Australian Championships: $825 per team entry fee for SEQ Regions ($450 for non-SEQ regions)
Pricing – Uniforms
- QLD State Championships + City v Country: Singlets/Shorts/Tights: $37 per garment
- NSW & Victorian State Championships: $37 per garment
- Australian Championships: Singlets//Shorts/Tights: $37 per garment
- State of Origin + World Cup: Singlets/Shorts/Tights: $37 per garment
- Off-field: Pricing available upon request
*NOTE: Full payment is required upfront for uniforms and all orders will be placed by region/sub-region managers.

- City v Country: 3 x 30 minute game series
- QLD State Championships: approx. 7 x 30 minute round games + finals
- NSW & Victorian State Championships: approx. 5 x 30 minute round games + finals
- State of Origin: 3 x 30 minute game series
- World Cup: 7 x 30 minute round games + finals
- Australian Championships: 7 x 30 minute round games + finals
